Be The Athlete You Were Meant To Be
The Everyday Athlete!
We are all athletes! Some people just don't know it. Our training programs should be designed to improve movement quality, strength, mobility, and coordination. As an everyday athlete, the main focus of your program should not be on burning calories but rather fine tuning the body for every day life. It's one thing to be strong in the gym, but it's another thing to be "all day strong." I believe that everyone should strive to attain a solid base of athleticism. Having a strong base of athleticism will deeply improve ones overall quality of life. What is athleticism? I define athleticism by 6 qualities
Strength
Flexibility
Endurance
Coordination
power
Balance
When training the everyday athlete, I use these characteristics to develop their training program. There are a lot of different factors that go into a training program but these 6 abilities can have a huge impact on there specific goals. Often most people are only training 1 to 3 of these qualities this leads to imbalances and can hinder their progress.
